Forum Rules

Here is the list of forum rules for this site:
1: No pornographic, racist, attacking, inappropriate, etc... content is allowed here. This is strictly prohibited and could (and will likely) result in a ban. Don't even link to this kind of content, period. Any behavior that goes against this rule will be treated severely. Period. Again, don't post any of it.
2: No cussing allowed. Seriously. Unlike some sites, we do actually enforce this. I have convictions and don't like cussing at all.
3: No spamming. Spam is defined as posting something not related to the topic in any way. In the forum games, if you play, do not spam. We all love to have some fun, and I understand that about the forum games especially, so we aren't quite as strict in there, but the no spam rule still applies.
If you play in counting games (like the 500 post thread) always list the count, but also post something else in there related to the discussion. Any post that only contains the count and does not discuss anything (either explicit or implied) or go along with the discussion in any way, is considered to be spam. On the other hand, posting the "Spam seal of approval" logo or something similar is OK as a joke, and following suit with similar logos is also OK because it spurs some funny discussion, but remember not to actually spam here.
I know that sounds a little strict. To sum it up, feel free to have fun in the forum games, but just don't post anything not related to the topic.
4: Be kind to everyone. Especially respect moderators, but again, be kind to everyone.
5: As annoying as it can be, please keep images to 800x600. Some people have smaller monitors, and we want the site to be enjoyable for them as well. JPEG is the preferred format. We don't enforce this so you wont get in trouble with a moderator for it, but the pages load faster with JPEG images, so it's still a good idea to use JPEG.
6: In general, we allow double posting (what is the point in strict rules), but, please do not double post to spam. Unless it is illogical to do otherwise, please edit your previous post instead of writing a new post. As a general rule of thumb, if it's been twenty four hours after your last post, double posting is OK.
7: Do not share personally sensitive information such as IP addresses, your last name, or anything else like that that could clearly be used to identify you in that sense.
8: For safety reasons, we require that all members are at least 13 years of age to actively participate in the forums. This is for your protection. There are a lot of internet predators that love to prey on younger people.
9: If you want to link to downloads, please keep in mind that we obviously cannot host them. If you link to them elsewhere, you are completely responsible to make sure that you are within the rules of that host to link to them like that. If you are within the rules to do that, you are free to link to downloads like that so long as the download contains nothing inappropriate. Of course, however, moderators cannot be held responsible to make sure you are following host rules, so check the rules before you upload a file to mediafire and link to here.
I tried to keep things from getting too strict, but please understand that it really is important that the rules above be carefully obeyed. They are all quite important, so please cooperate here.
